Dressing Rooms at the O2

Forum Design was commissioned to create a series of luxurious dressing rooms at The O2 in London, designed to offer artists a private retreat that reflects the excitement and allure of backstage life. The interiors are dark and atmospheric, inspired by the intimate and dramatic backstage areas of live performances, offering a sanctuary for artists before and after their shows.

One key design challenge was creating a flexible space that could serve multiple functions beyond a dressing room. Forum Design introduced innovative solutions such as doors that can close to conceal the dressing table, transforming the room into a functional space for production meetings or other backstage uses. This adaptability ensures that each room can meet the varying needs of artists and production teams alike.

Rich textures and deep, moody tones define the space, with premium materials enhancing the sense of luxury. The design blends comfort with an edgy sophistication, mirroring the energy of the performances happening just beyond the stage.

This project showcases Forum Design’s ability to merge functional flexibility with a creative, immersive atmosphere, offering artists and teams at The O2 a setting as extraordinary as the performances they give.
